Hi,
I was diagnosed with PCOS a month ago. I am 29, and needless to say - i
feel lousy.
I have been put on Metformine and hae been on it for 3 weeks. My doc.
asked me to build up the dosage from 500mg a day to 1500 mg in 3 weeks.
I though that was fast and my system has revolted quite badly. Along
with Metformine, i am also taking Dianne 35 ( for 3 cycles ) and
dexamethasone.
The good thing is that i have knocked off 8 kgs in a month. But, it has
left me feeling weak and disgusted. My hair and skin have been affected
too - though my nails seem okay so far.
I need help - has anybody managed to work out a good diet plan ? I am a
pure vegetarian so diet options available on the net are scarce.
