Hi Tine, Jenni and others with the nail question,

Though I am no dermatologist, but broken nails may sign several problems: 1. Psoriasis may present itself in the nails. Naturally it is hard to conseive that it coincides with metformin treatment. 2. Vitamin A is responsible for the proper development of skin and its accessories (hair, nails etc.)

Do not misinform others on this board. No member of the vitamin group B is responsible for nails.
