I was just recently put on Metformin (Glucophage) and the documentation that came with my Rx (2 pages) clearly states to "Avoid alcohol while using this medication". Considering _I_ received this information (again 2 pages with the bottle), why hasn't anyone else??? That really makes me think. Obviously, there are known side affects and other precautions, so why have I been the only one to receive these warnings??
