Sam is right about this; your hypoglycemia is in relation to your pancreatic function. Met or some other insulin sensitizer helps your pancreas to secrete an appropriate amt of insulin in response to what you eat, hence the hypoglycemia goes away. I too, was hypoglycemic, and the symptoms are now gone, thanks to my insulin sensitizer. There's lots of good information on the PCOS main site that you can gather up to take to the doctor's with you. Don't assume something won't work for you until you do the research and discuss what you find with a qualified doctor who knows his/her stuff. If you can spare the time, I think it would be helpful if you spent time in the 'archives' reading past posts and gathering information.

Good luck!
