Re: MarriageFrom: Stacy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 8 Jan 2001 10:22:44 -0800 (PST)
Hopefully I'm not repeating what was said by others. But, here's my own perspective. I was diagnosed with PCOS abotu 6 months into a new relationship (though we had been friends prior). I was upfront the whoel time, but that's just the way our relationship was...he knew I was goign to the RE, etc. I also knew he really wants a family (so do I) and was worried that this could change things between us. It didn't..and maybe that's because of the man I was with...to me he is very special. He was adament that there are other ways to have kids and the best line i remember, no matter how corny it sounds was, "I fell in love with you not your ovaries." So, I guess what I'm saying is IF you two are meant to be together, if he's the one for you..then he will accept you with PCOS and love you all the same.
