Kerry:
I had the ovarian drilling done (been 8 yrs ago) and was pregnant with NO
MEDS in five months. I had tried clomid and various other things before my
dr asked me to try the ovarian drilling. My symptoms came back after the
pregancy. I have done semi-low-carb over the last three years and my cycles
returned to normal without meds. I was 29 when I had the surgery, best
thing I had ever done! I know surgery is scary, but it was "belly button"
and alittle discomfort from the gas more than anything. The surgery did help
me ovulate and have normal cycles while attempting pregnancy. eight years
later, I am now on met to control some of the symptoms and spiro. Wish I
had known about it earlier.
Best of luck to you, I was in your shoes and terrified I would never have a
child, he is a beautiful 7 yr old now! Keep the faith, there are so many new
options available today.
