Hi, I asked my Doctor about this product and she recommended VERY strongly against it. She read the 'studies' (her emphasis) and said that they didn't convince her that it had any benefits and the studies were so small that she felt that any side effects would not have had time to show, not to mention the cost of the drug. She said that if you calculated the cost of the drug over time it was way cheaper to go and get laser treatment which should only have to be done a few times at the most( since hairs are sometimes in dormant phase) and is permanent. In terms of preparation though she said you should not pluck or use depilatories before the laser only shave. I am going to try to do that once I save up a little money. Not to sound alarmist and if it is working I am really happy for people but I hate being the guinea pig.
