Thanks for replying again Joan. I have viewed the websites that you posted and have been educating myself more on this. I have some facts printed to bring with me to the Dr. tomorrow, I just hope it will work to prove to THEM I have some idea of what is wrong with me. I'm seeing more and more than women with PCOS need to see a Dr. specializing in, or at least FAMILIAR WITH PCOS, not just GYN issues. I don't know if my past 2 dr's weren't familiar with it or not, but they should have gotten me in touch with someone who was, rather than let me get worse and worse. I've been doing a lot of reading and believe that I've had this for at least 10 years and just didn't know. I've had the classic symptoms in my childhood when I first started my periods. Even with the spots on the back of my neck, armpits, stomach, etc. That all began when I was a child and have gotten worse over time. I (stupidly) thought it was just my Italian background, including the hair growth in odd areas. I'll report what happens when I return. Thanks for the advice, and for all the help.
