I am sorry to hear you are having no results and only side effects. I have been on glucophage for two months, same dosage, side effect minimal. But I have yet to have a period. I don't know when that is supposed to start.

I have read from postings of other women with pcos, many didn't have any results until they reached a much higher dosage. Their Dr's increase slowy for the body to adjust better. Also, many of them take clomid too.

I hope you find a dr who is very knowledgable about pcos to help you. >I HAVE BEEN ON GLOUCOPHAGE FOR ALMOST 2MONTHES AT 500 2 XS A DAY AND IT ISNOT HELPING ME I HAVE INDEGSETION AND AOCCASIONAL DIHERAH AND NAUSIA IT WAS WORSE WHEN I STARTED BUT NOW JUST THE INDEGESTION IS HOLDING ON . IT HAS NOT RELEAVED AND OF MY SYMPTOOMS OF PCOS AND I STILL HAVE NOT HAD A PERIOD I REALLY WANT TO HAVE A CHILD AND I AM ABOUT READY TO GIVE UP AND STOP THE PILLS I AM GOING TO GO FOR A SECOOND OPINIO BUT I FEAR THAT IT WILL NOT CHANGE MATTERS AND SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS WOULD HELP I AM SO SCARED OF NEVER HAVING A CHILD I AM NOW 31 AND DONT WANT TO WAIT MUCH LONGER >
