Hi Amy - I found that dairy products make the gastrointestnal side effects of the Metformin worse. High fiber makes them better. I haven't been on a low carb diet lately, but the Met makes me not hungry at all. Eating lots of green stuff seems to help me. Good luck! Ruth ;-)
