Robin,

My experience proves not all OBGYN's are trained yo treat harmonal disorders like PCOS - so - I would suggest you get referred to an Endo who deals with PCOS -or- you can pull up PCOS specialists off this web-site depending on the State you live in. PCOS is extremely frustrating - especially the ignorance of physicians ( some of them I do not want to generalize) ......this is a great website to begin your research - I at times have spent over 3 hours just reading..... good luck to you and don't let anyone tell you there is no treatment and DON'T be afraid to challenge the Dr's "status quo". Good luck to you....Staceylynne
