Hi Stephanie (and other migraine sufferers). I too, suffer from migraines, and interestingly enough, they only began several months after I started taking BCPs. Because of my situation with heavy bleeding and clotting, I can't take Advil, or Midol, or anything that may have aspirin, acetaminaphine, or anything over the counter pretty much. They prescribed me "Midrin" which are red capsules, and you take 2 at the onset of the migraine, and 1 every hour afterwards (max of 5) until the migraine goes away. I have found it to be helpful for me. I believe I've only gone up to 4 for a migraine, but I try to tough it out and deal with it as long as I can before I take them. Maybe you can look into this medication and see if it may be an option for you. I haven't gotten MORE migraines--in fact, I get them less often. Don't know if that's thanks to the Midrin or not, but it may help you. Good luck. :)
