Well, I really don't know where to begin. I was dx w/ PCOS 10 years ago. I have been managed on BCP up until this point. I got married in July at that time I went off of the pill. I had 3 normal cycles and then I thought I got pregnant. My MD made me wait 5 weeks before performing a blood test. The Tues before Christmas I found out that it was neg. My MD has now placed me on Prometrium to induce a period. Does anyone know about this medication. My MD would not even talk w/ me re: this (Time for a new MD). Can I still be trying to concieve while taking this? Is there any other side effects? Is this the right course to take w/ someone who has PCOS? My MD is a generalist and she won't refer me to a specialist until I have been "trying" for 6 months (I have 2 months left). Anyway, thank you for any information you may have.
