clomid = pregnancy = positive test...when?From: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 23 Dec 2000 06:09:06 -0600 (CST)
Question...I had a period assisted by provera followed on days 5-10 with clomid followed 6 days later with positve ovulation. This past Wednesday was 28 days since the first day of my period. So I took a preg. test this morning (Saturday) and it was negative. However, my chest feels bruised and sensitive, and this has never been a side effect of my period, ovulation, anything. So I am going to give it another week and then test again just to make sure before repeating the whole cycle. My question is this: if you don't have a normal 28 day cycle (I only wish!), when IS the "first day after missed period" when you should begin testing for pregnancy...? I would be happy to go on my merry way and start a new cycle of meds, except for this nasty sensitivity in my breasts. Do those of us without regular cycles show up testing positive later? Help!
