PCOS and Lower Thyroid Level

Hi Ladies - Went to my regular endocrinologist today and he said that I have a low, borderline thyroid condition. This is measured apparently by the level of Tyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH). Mine was 4.1 and the upper limit is 4.5 (out of bounds). He is retesting it today.

I have done a little research and found that low thyroid is related to infertility (suppresses egg production) and can contribute to miscarriages (I have had 3).

Any other PCOS ladies out there with low thyroid (also called hypothyroid)? Just wondering... I'm thrilled to have yet ANOTHER hormone imbalance! (oh boy!)

Thanks, Ruth ;-)
