Hi Veronica - I usually have to take the Provera for 10 days, then be off of it for about 10 days before mine starts. Sometimes I have to get a shot of Progesterone to start (same stuff different type). Before taking the Provera, be sure that you are not pregnant (the dr. usually checks this with me, just in case).

Sounds like you may need to work with your doctor to find out why you are not getting the periods. If it is PCOS for sure, then you can go the birth control method if not trying to get pregnant or other PCOS treatments (Metformin or others) if you do want to get pregnant.

If I were you, I'd call the doctor. Either way, they should be helping you with your concerns.
