question about IGTT results

Hi everybody,

I am new to the board and have a really important question that I need answered as I am not going back to my RE till February. I had an IGTT test done - I don't know specifics, but was told by the office that levels were normal except at the 2 hour mark where my glucose levels were 156. This falls into something called Impaired Glucose Tolerance - 140-200. It is between normal and diabetes. Does anyone know what this means and the consequences of it. Does it mean I am IR?

Thank you so very much.
