Hello- My experience with Met - don't take with milk. It makes the diaherra (sp?) much worse. Eating high fiber stuff (like Oatmeal) helped a lot. I think it absorbed the excess water. I started at 1/2 500mg pill and took it until no side effects then moved up 1/2 a pill at a time until 1500mg a day. This worked a lot better than the last time when I started on it too fast. Good luck! Ruth ;-)
