>I think you've got something there, Sue!!! Maybe we should start focusing some of our efforts on attracting the drug manufacturer's attention to our plight....Maybe, just maybe, if the drug manufacturers realize just how HUGE our segment of the population is, THEY will help "come to bat" for us in the medical arena.....because, as you said, they stand to make a profit from yet another part of the population!< You know, I think that's a fabulous idea! For all of my research over the years, I still have the habit of expecting doctors to take the next step in research, etc. My husband works in pharmaceutical research, so I know that very often the drug company comes up with the compound/idea for research and takes it from there. Maybe one of these manufacturer's can be convinced of the potential market (they already know that for "non-ovulating women" their products may cause/induce ovulation [read the inserts with this stuff]), and the fierce sense of competition will stir them all up to get on it and do the research nec. to take it to the FDA, instead of waiting for the FDA to do the research on its own. Good thinking! I can't believe I never thought of it; I guess I was just stuck "in the box" with my thinking. --Sue
