I haven't posted here before but I generally "talk" to people on acne boards because that's my main problem. I'm 33 & have been battling it since I was 11, was finally diagnosed during the summer w/PCOS as the cause. I was about 16 weeks into treatment at 100 mg a day of spiro - I took accutane earlier this yr, I have been watching my pores clog back up ever since (skin was perfect when I finished it). My derm wouldn't raise the dose so I went to my gyn & she said I could double it - so now I'm doing 200 mg a day. Has anyone else found that a higher dose worked better, or is it possible it just won't work for me? I'm improved but I'm still stuck on the antibiotics too, & using retin a. I'm so tired of this. Thanks!
