I was finally diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago. AFTER the 125 lb weight gain, after the skin tags, darkening of skin, facial hair........ I thought I was going crazy. If I heard 1 more doctor tell me I had an "eating disorder" I probably would have exploded. PCOS is an illness in itself that noone can "understand" what you are going through unless they have been here, where we are. Living day in and out - waking up to PCOS. I have tried to look for an Endocronologist who believes some things need to be treated with meds. I eat VERY well, exercise, have tried every diet out there and still in 2 months gained 35 lbs - and bloated constantly!!!
