I used to be the SE MIchigan Support Group leader. Are you interested in the support group or just a physician referral? We used to get so many mails for that--we just couldn't answer them all. Try going to a support group meeting and everyone exchanges Doctor info there.

I would definately ask for Metformin or Actos.  It has been a miracle
drug for me.  Are you in the Birmingham, UK?  I am trying to get a group
started there - I just moved from the USA and started a group there and I
really miss it.  Feel free to contact me. GOod luck.
