Reply: Ruth: "Re: after glucophage too many periods?" I have been on glucophage for about 1 1/2 yrs and I have excessive periods. Usually 2 or 3 a month. I have been to the ob/gyn and she doesn't know why. I do not want more hormones. Before the glucophage I was lucky to have one or two periods a year.
