Dear all, I have been reading all your questions and answers about BCP and I have to admit that I am still very confused. I am currently living in the UK where the doctors don't even want to deal with PCOS and tell me that it is all minor problems #. Right, I am not massively overweight, but I do tend to gain weight really easily especially when I am on BCP. My question is, I have been taking Cilest for the past month to regulate my period (hadn't had one in 9 months) and ALSO for contraceptive purposes. However, I am experiencing the same side effects as I had before when I was on dianette (or Diane 35), weight gain and fluid retention. Can anybody tell me of a BCP that will not give me these side effects? I do want the contraception the pill provides And what would be even better, does anybody know of a good doctor in the UK (Manchester or London area) that I could go and see?
