Brandi,

Have you been tested for Insulin Resistance? If not, then you should be. Many women with PCOS are also Insulin Resistant. There is a drug called Metformin that can be taken to help with PCOS. It is usually prescribed for IR patients or women who are trying to conceive. I would research on this site and others about Metformin and being tested for Insulin Resistance and then talk to your doctor about this. Try to see an Endocrinologist and try to find one who currently treats PCOS. Good Luck, and remember that we are here if you have any other questions.
