Lisa,
I take 8mg of Avandia and it works well for me since I get a period
every month and my skin has improved. Also, it does not cause stomach
upset like Met. I hear that weight loss is not as great as it is with
Met, but some people (especially those who can't tolerate Met) respond
better to it.
Hope you find a dr who is familiar with Avandia and Actos. Please keep
us informed.
