Hi Louisa, I understand how worried you are about your scan, I was exactly the same. When I had mine It showed enlarged and polycystic ovaries. It sounded horrible but just coming home and reading about it put me in a position where I thought I was actively doing something about it. I knew the name to give to this string of supposedly unrelated symptoms, i.e. excess hair, inability to lose weight, fast weight gain, tiredness, lack of periods for months on end. I regret having this disease, I'd rather not have it obviously, but I never regret having the diagnosis of PCOS. I dont know what to say about the excess hair thing. I've never seen the dr. about mine. I am one of those who has to shave my legs daily or I can't wear a skirt. I do sit in the bath, immac in hand, with blobs on my upper lip, chin, and boobs(Sexy image or what!).

Don't worry, be happy,
