Hi I a need advise..I am 24 and have always had a excessive hair problem. Recently I have been treated via Laser and it has maintained the growth and lightened the hair but it is getting very expensive. The nurse who has done the treatment has recomended that I go and see my Dr as I may have POCS, she insisted that I ask for an ultra sound. So I went along and he checked my background, I had a blood test when I was 16 as I was destressed about the hair and it showed nothing out of the ordinary. Due to me being desrtessed he booked me in for an ultra sound. My Ultra sound is next Tuesday and I am really scared of the result. I was on the pill for years and my periods were regular, since I have stopped the pill they have been irregular! What do I need to know or ask about POCS?What are the best Medications? Why is there no press on this subject if it effects 6% of women?...I was beginning to think I was the only one that had this problem. It is scary because when you are young you have enough pressures in you life with out having to spend hours a week with a tube of Immac or a razor. I have always been a very srong caracter and had a love for life but I dred to think what it would have been like if I let it get me down!!!!!! Chin up everyone (or down in bright light!!!)Ha u have to laugh becaus if you don't it will all become too much. Louisa xx London
