Sue~~I cant say I agree with you here. I mean, why should anyone post here then? If we can all look up this info on the net then why bother with this site? Yes, I could have driven to the library~~~which was closed at that time~~after packing up my kids in the car. Yes, I could have called the doctor back~~~but his office called at closing time and therefore he wasnt in to pick up my message. I didnt personally berate and belittle Shelly as "not caring". This wasnt her first reply to someone to "LOOK IT UP!",. There is no need for her to put a post like that up. If she cant say something nice she shouldnt post it. I have read many posts here for a long time where people ask about metformin and other meds as far as side effects, dosages, etc. I didnt think it was too much to ask for some help about the med I was being put on. I had read several posts recently where someone was being treated for adrenal problems possibly with PCOS and it made sense to me that someone here might be able to understand where Im coming from. I thought maybe SOMEONE would know about the side effects first hand~~something a physicians desk reference wont give you. I have my own personal issues which I dont care to put on the board as to why I'm not feeling well but let me tell you I dont have hours and hours to sit here and look the info up. I thought one quick post might generate a response or two from someone who is on this med. I got that~~~~but not from Shelly. I cant tell you how it felt to me to read that post she put up. Not~~ Try putting it in the search engine on this site ( which by the way I did to no avail) but LOOK IT UP!!! How do you think it would have made YOU feel if you were in my position? Sorry I thought this was a support site.
