That's interesting! When I was a teen, I could sing fairly low also.....I attributed that to the fact that I also played Bassoon and was accustomed to "opening" my throat in a very relaxed state so I COULD produce lower notes.

I don't know that my voice has changed all that much (I'm 40 now), but I HAVE wondered about it.....knowing testosterone is one of the excess hormones we have. (Oddly enough, when we were dealing with the infertility issue, my husband had too little testosterone while I had too much. Life is just not fair sometimes!)
