Hi my name is Amber and I have been trying for a baby for almost 5 years now. I have had 4 pregnancy losses due to a genetic chromosomal abnormality with my husband. But we have not let that stop our chances for a baby as we still have a chance for a healthy baby. The problem now lies within me. I have recently been diagnosed with pcos and this is the longest it has taked me to concieve. All my other pregnancys were concieved naturally...meaning no fertility drugs. My knew fertility doctor just put me on metformin at a 1000mg per day to control my insulin levels that have risen from the pcos. I am here to see if there is anyone out there who has concieved on this drug? I haven't hadn't any outstanding side effects from it except i get a bit queezy now and again. Nothing that has complicated my life to any degree. I am just hoping this works. I will aslo keep the board informed on my progress on the drug and let everyone know how i am doing as she wants me to up my dose in a week.thanks for listning and to whom ever responds to this letter.

desperate for a baby Amber :)
