Yes, there is. There is a little machine that you can buy at the drug store that will measure the glucose in your blood. (Is that what you are talking about?) Diabetics use them to make sure their sugar is in their target range. When I first took Metformin, my doctor wanted to make sure that my sugar levels did not go too low. You prick your finger with this device that comes with the machine, and you put a drop of blood on a stick that also comes in the kit. Then you place the stick into the machine and it will give you a number. My target range was 70 - 100. I was usually in the 80's - 90's, which meant I was OK. Ask your doctor, or your pharmacist about it. They are expensive - around $50 - 70 for the kit. Hope this helps! Kathy
