I just replied to a post yesterday Re: "Why Met, then Actos/Avandia." It is somewhat related to your question. I was only on Actos for about one month, but I could tell that my PCOS symptoms were coming back, including weight gain. Met did a much better job of stopping my craving for food. Actos did, however, cure my bowel problems and I actually had a 28-day cycle for the first time in a long time. But my post yesterday explains how I went back to Met, slowly. It is just a suggestion in case Actos does not work for you. Best wishes.
