PCOS treatment

I was diagnosed PCOS last year, my symptoms are irregular menstruation (3 or 8 months between), numerous cysts on the ovaries, hypoglicemia, a little bit of alopecia, and weight problems. I'm 22 years old, and the symptoms have been with me since i was 13.

My doctor did't recommend any treatment or medication, he said that just checking every 6 month the amount and size of the cysts would be fine.

What risks am i exposed to, leaving the PCOS without treatment? would they get worse?

And the symptoms? Would they disappear alone? I still have them.
