I totally agree with that sentiment. One woman I knew (who was seldom wise, but was in this instance) said, "It took you at least 9 mos. to put that weight on, so give yourself at least that long to take it off." That seems very balanced in approach.

I and some other women have had success following The Weigh Down plan--it's not low carb. We have all had success on this, though, while being on an insulin sensitizer; minimal success w/o something to control the insulin levels. Feel free to email me if you'd like info on it. :)
