Met, in and of itself, might not be the magic pill for you. Have you combined it with low carbing (sounds like you need Atkins, for some the most effective) and exercise? Have you tried additional suppliments like CLA, Alph lipoic acid, or Chromium GTF. There is a battery of thyroid tests. Research ALL that you may need to take. (Sometimes the Drs leave a few of the tests out.) For the hair have you tried spiro, saw palmetto anyting else. There are a lot of additional things to try besides just one medication.
