I don't take any Met. I haven't been able to find anyone willing to put me on it. I do want to have a baby, but I quiet fertility treatments because my mother is ill and needs my help. My secondary concern with PCOS is weight loss and the complications of obesity, so I have tried Meridia and Xenical. So far, so good. I don't know if my tendency to overeat is a physical addiction, psychological or emotional, but this medication has really worked so far. It is not the first time I have lost weight, so I know the true challenge isn't losing the pounds, it's keeping them off. I do love physical activity, so I hope when my weight normalizes I can increase my exercise to help keep the fat away. I have no illusions about being thin, I just want to be a more normal weight. I am tired of buying large size clothes!! Sorry to ramble--take care, all. >
