Dear Kimberly and all,

Thanks so much for your helpful answers to my questions. Together we will get to the bottom of all these PCOS issues...! If I find out more about the BCP's, I'll post here to let you all know.

Love and peace,

Robin

Hi Robin,

I'm also taking the same pill and experiencing the same thing...it's maddening! I had my first appointment with a RE on Friday. He all but laughed when I told him my condition is worse with Orthotricyclen (prescribed by gyno) and said "well, oh that's the pill to help acne". I am breaking out more than I ever did as a teenager, and I'm 33 and the excessive hair growth is killing me too. He did offer to change me to another pill for my next cycle..think it's Orthocept. I am also experiencing severe bleeding that starts after about the 7-8th day into the new pack. It's like I'm having a period every 2 weeks. I have the same questions as you do...and feel for you completely because I share your agony. Take care, Kimberly.
