Hi Alicia,

My name is Jenni and I am 24 and recently married. I started Met only 3 weeks ago. I don't plan to have children for a while, but asked my doctor about it anyway. She told me that I was young enough to wait a while. She suggested that if the Met worked well there would be the possibility that by the time I want to have children (a couple of years) that I would not have any fertility problems. So, I would say to discuss this with your doctor, so that you can consider your age, but from my understanding, the longer you are on it the better.

Good Luck,
