Hi, i need some help? I'm taking 100mg of spironlactone, and i'm on thyroid med's. I would like to try Met, but the doctor doesn't seem to anxious in handing out any perscriptions. She wants me to go on a bc pill. I have been on and off for many years. But i have heard so many awful stories about the terrible hormonal shifts going on and off the pill , and what it does to your body, re: hair, growth, and loss. I have suffered both. And i don't want to aggrivate it worse. It seems like a lot of women on this board are taking the bc pill.? And yet i've read some that are totally against them, I'm very confused, do i try again, and try and stay with it.I would like to try Diane 35. I live in Canada, so what i've heard , i can get them here. I just don't know if i can trust my doctor. i don't think she knows to much about pcos. Her wanting me to take the bc pill is on advise from a doctor in Toronto. I live in Winnipeg, if ANYONE knows of a doctor in my area, please let me know. I don't know where to turn.
