My 16 yr. old daughter and I are seeing Dr. Letterie at Virgina Mason in downtown Seattle. We had our initial visit about 3 weeks ago and are going back Wednsday for our follow-up to discuss test results. I found Dr. Letterie to be very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about PCOS. We had already been to two other doctors with poor results, so I was greatful to find a compassionate doctor. He is an OBGYN who specializes in infertility, but he sees lots of PCOS patients. He was great with my 16 year old, who was very nervous. We are both taking Spironolactone and he said, depending on the tests, that he might start us on Metiformin.
