Hi I was asked to participate in a trial for this new combo drug, but I refused. I understand it combines Glucophage with a sulfonyrea(sp?) which stimulates insulin output. The main reason I refused is that my Endo had never even taken fasting insulin levels for me, and my guess is that I have already very high insulin levels along with the high sugars (yes I am also diabetic now), and from what I can see, increasing our insulin even more would only make the PCOS symptoms worse. It someone has documented tests that they are not putting out enough insulin, I think this new combination would be fine. Cindi
