Glucovance - a new diabetic drug

I was browsing through a magazine, I think it was the latest People, on a plane flight yesterday, and came across an ad for a new diabetic prescription called Glucovance. It's made by the makers of of Glucophage and actually contains metformin and something else. They didn't come out and say it but it appeared that this is supposed to be better way for sugar control. I've got an endo appointment on Tuesday so I'm going to bring it up (I've been on 2500 mg daily of metformin for a year now) and see what they think about its benefits for PCOS.

Does anybody know anything about Glucovance? Anybody taking it?
