How horrible for you. I would be polite and up front and inform your new Doctor that you plan to be an active participant in your treatment, that you will have a lot of questions, and are looking for her to provide the answers. If she is not open to that, I would look for a new Doctor. You have every right to be informed and it is their duty to provide it.

have joined the right site in order to learn more on your cause. why not try
to see if your records could be transferred to your new doctor in order not
to go through that process again.Be strong.
