Re: Gluophage, How do I tell if it's working??

I've been on met (glucophage) for almost four months. In that time, I've
had two periods (after having just two in the previous 19 months), they are
more "complete" periods too. I feel great now that the initial symptoms
have gone (it took just a few weeks), my chronic rash on the upper arms is
much less, and I am trying to determine now whether or not it has helped
with the facial hair. Part of the problem with the facial hair, is that
since I've made the connection between it and the PCO, I've been much more
aggressive about plucking, so I can't really tell how successful the met has
been on that front. I'm going back to my RE at the end of October for a
follow up and to evaluate how its going. So far, othe than the
inconvenience of taking met three times a day (500mg three times a day), I
am happy with it. Haven't lost weight, but I know why, my food choices
haven't been the best lately.
