I went to see a new doctor who seemed to know more about PCOS than those before her and she put me on the following medication "cocktail": 18 Androcur 50 mg Co (1/2 tablet day 5 to 15) and 63 Estrace 2 mg Co (1 tablet day 5 to 26) It seems to stop the speed at which the hair grows on my body (saving money on electrolysis!) but I have had some very emotional "episodes" which is unlike me. I am from Canada so I am not sure if the other medications (i.e. Glucophage) are available here. Does anybody know about these medications?
