Met does NOT work for Acne

After being on 2000 mg/.day for over 3 months, my doctor finally decided the metformin/glucophage wasn't working to clear up my skin. He wants me to stop using met and go on 100 mg/day of spironolactone.

I already have low blood pressure (110/70) so I'm a little apprehensive. Can anyone share their experience and side effects with spiro and what I should be aware of. Thanks.
