I originally tried metformin back about 2 years ago and gave up on it
because it made me so sick. I hated having to take it 3 times a day
too. What I found I was not really takign the pill right. I am not a
big eater and If there isn't any food in your tummy it is awful. I am
trying it again except this time I am taking 850mg 2times a day and it
is working great. I will admit that I do have some diahrea but no
nausea and I am pleasantly full after eating a healthy dinner. Here is
the advice my doc gave me.. eat at least half of your meal and then
take your medication, drink lots and lots of water, try to reduce carbs
and I am feeling really good. My periods are regular and using my
saliva indicator I have tracked that my hormones are doing what they are
supposed to be doing.
good luck,
michelle
