It took me that long to get an appointment with the endocrinologist! I started Metformin today (500mg) and will increase gradually to 2000mg. I put myself on the Carbohydrate Addicts Diet a year ago and have been taking GTF Chromium. I forgot to ask the endocrinologist about taking both Metformin and GTF Chromium. Who knows how long it could be before I get a response! So-- I would appreciate any advice on the combination.
