If you get pregnant on spiro, it will cause developmental problems with the fetus. So, I'm not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon, and my doc says that spiro won't hurt my eggs, only a fetus, but I'd prefer to not take the chance. I'm not a fan of taking tons of pills, Met and bcps are enough for me (when I try to conceive, then we'll see about more).
